Almost Today 03:39
soon it'll all be gone soon it'll be the dawn I can't look you in the eye as I walk away yesterday was yours and mine but it's almost today who will you rely upon soon it'll be the dawn smiling cannot hide the time your careless words betray yesterday was yours & mine but it's almost today who's gonna be your pawn soon it'll be the dawn snapshots from the years behind are portraits of decay yesterday was yours & mine but it's almost today

the girl in the purple skirt you know she loves to flirt bringing bliss and glowing after with a hero's dose of laughter shirt and cap of alabaster leads me to the future faster the girl in the purple skirt you know she loves to flirt all her colors can't be captured while I'm being rainbow raptured plays me like a Stratocaster let her music be my master thought she's born in darkness she shines a silver light and all I want to do is take flight the girl in the purple skirt you know she loves to flirt all her colors can't be captured while I'm being rainbow raptured bringing bliss and glowing after with a hero's dose of laughter

remember the days, there was tomorrow remember the pace of too much time we'll never start what we forgot remember the times, but not a lot believe it without being in it, emulating biding the time with the best line, instigating remember a phrase, drawing curtains a brief embrace, cautious glances consider this in deep reflection a granted wish, last ditch chances

these landscapes of colored shapes dissolve in steam forward thru the backwards tapes I've had this dream I've been here and I've been near and I have seen light that shines so bright and clear or so it seems, I've had this dream these dreadnoughts of cloudy thoughts now reign supreme brain no longer calls the shots I've had this dream I've been fed into the dreaded head machine only to end up in bed or so it seems, I've had this dream and as my visions slowly fade to grey I turn to face another rainy day and while the world waits for me to begin I wish that I could simply crawl back in where I'd been

about

And then there were the Four, who created the Ninth, and it was good. While the psychic damage of modern life rages all around us, The Vertigo Swirl brings forth a new hope for The Elevated Human Listener. The full-time dream team of Brian Andrew Marek, Drew Aldrich, Michael Thompson, and Dan Stuvland have been busy cooking up auditory hallucinations to tickle your ears all the way down to your soul. As always, it's a bit progressive, a little electronic, and VERY psychedelic... but mostly, it's just the inimitable sound of The Vertigo Swirl, paring down the sprawl of recent years into a concise blast of heaven and hell and all points in between. Let them enter your ears and see if you experience synesthesia... sometymes.
